As one of DSA sponsors,
FITForces covered and supported this event and we
were very happy to be part of this great event that
was very well organized. The 2nd Annual DSA Sport
Business Conference took place on March 18th-19th
at the Hotel Delta Centre-Ville. The Conference
is a |

completely DSA (Diploma in Sport Administration
at the John Molson School of Business) student initiative,
and with over 70 participants, as well as a wide
array of exciting and interesting speakers, the
2005 event was a great success. |
Participants were fortunate to hear terrific perspectives
on the future of sports in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and
the world from some of the great leaders in the sport
business community of Montreal.
Speakers included, among others:
- Michael Farber, Senior Writer for Sports Illustrated
- Ray Lalonde, VP of Marketing and Communications
for the Montreal Canadiens
- Yvon Michel, boxing promoter and President
of Groupe Yvon Michel (GYM)
- Gilles Courteau, Commissioner of the Quebec
Major Junior Hockey League, in which hockey
phenom Sydney Crosby plays.
