is my passion! I’ve always enjoyed being in
the weight room and pushing the envelope. So in
2003, I decided to put all my hard work to good
use and enter the WNSO Muscle Mania figure competition.
I had such a good time, I came back for more in
2004. This year as a lightweight bodybuilder.
Whether it’s bodybuilding or running marathons
(7 in the past) the principles are the same –
eat, train, sleep. These are 3 principles to live
by whether you set your sights on competing or
just want to be fit - physically, mentally, and
spiritually. As a part-time personal trainer,
I try to impress these principles on all my clients.
This can be a challenge as most of my clients
are women. |

In today’s lifestyle, healthy nutrition often
falls by the wayside or people think that good eating
means boring food. This could be further from the
truth. Also, women traditionally always put others
ahead leaving themselves no time to stay fit. It
is my goal to change that around. I would also like
to see more 40+ women get into bodybuilding, if
only for themselves. The body awareness, self-acceptance
and self-confidence gained is second to none.
I am looking forward to training and competing at Muscle Mania 2005! |
