Before I started training, modeling never entered my mind. My reason to start training and getting in shape was to achieve a perfect score on a chinnup test for my policing program at college. At the time, I was about 200lbs and 18-20 % body fat. I was so frustrated and ashamed of myself, for I could only do 4 pullups.

After learning about diet and fitness. I had a goal. After seven months of committed diet and exersise, I lost almost 50lbs. My strength had gone up , I felt healthy and strong and managed to hold down a 3.9 gpa in my studies.

Training made me confident. Gave me confidence to seek more knowledge and gave me the courage to never underestimate myself.
I continued training and made incredible gains. When the final chinnup test came, I blew the score away! 23 was a perfect score, my last rep had me breaking sweat and fire burning. I looked at my fitness teacher to get the count. I was so focused, I didn't even count. When she show me the test paper, I was shocked. 27pull ups ! My peers commended me. I had never felt so alive.

Training is ever been an important aspect of my life. I contiue to train daily. Incorporating a balanced diet and intense workout regime. I can see my abs! Muscles I thought I would never see! I love living life fit.

For the past two years, I've managed to stay a lean 175 lbs, with under 10 percent b/f. I'm strong, happy , confident. I'm also a big reader of mens-health. My dream is to someday grace the cover of mens health. But, to just have my name or even a tiny picture in the magazine would be just as satisfying.

I've tried several supplements and used my self as a guinea pig, in quest of the perfect body. I've come the realisation, that all the supplements in the world won't build one a perfect body. The only tool that would build that body is knowledge, competition , dedication and persistance.

I believe in a balanced diet of carbohydrates, protein and essential fats. There's a time and place to eat certain foods. It is important to learn and understand the bio-chemistry of the nutrients and how the body uses them. Rest is just as important for overall health. Diet , exercise and rest all are crucial to build a strong , healthy body.

To be honest, I believe myself to be a role model. I'm a youth counsellor. I work with children and teenagers. All of these youths need a positive male role model. I give 110% in the gym, with everything I do! Fortunately, my hard work hasn't gone unoticed. I recieve several compliments from people on a daily basis. It's not only the physique, but they comment on my dedication and determination. I'm the only guy in the gym that drinks from a 4 litre jug of water.

My goal has been achieved. To be an example of inspiration. In the past year, I have had several photos taken and modeling has begun to enter my mind. I am entering a annual competion called FAME (fitness model expo). My work will be cut out for me, however I believe I will give others a run for their money aswell. "To live forever, is to live a life worth remembering" I believe too many people today are caught up in the real world. Some lose themselves, others never find themselves. One must be in touch with who they are. I believe I'm destined to do something great and be remembered. It's not often I toot my own horn, but I want to be heard. I'm proud of my work and who I am.
